More about Emma

Hello, I’m Emma, an experienced Queenstown-based family photographer who is passionate about photographing babies and children, in an organic natural way. I’m mum to two gorgeous boys, Toby and Thomas (who are growing up too fast!) and my furbaby (girl) Luna, who is a cuddly cavoodle.

Before beginning my full-time career as a photographer, I worked as a graphic designer in London. I travelled the world before choosing New Zealand to put down roots raise and family. When my first baby Toby was born I realised just how incredible newborns/babies are. He inspired me to pick up my camera and capture all the milestones, chubby rolls and gummy grins. I've now been photographing babies and families for over 13 years!

I wanted to document every detail, from his teeny toes to his button nose. Before I knew it, he had become a chubby 6 month old, 8 month old walker (then runner) started nursery and then school. Two years later came Thomas, and he has been chasing his big brother’s coat tails his whole life – desperate to join in the fun… now they are both at high school!

Every stage of my children’s lives so far have amazed me, and it seems like these moments went by in the blink of an eye. I am thankful that I have their portraits to remember the details of each stage of their story so far… I know will treasure these forever.
